About Grace
Grace Collins is the founder of Red Diamond Interactive, a Halifax-based hybrid game studio, and Snowbright Studio, an award-winning LGBTQ+ game studio dedicated to publishing heartwarming games and books.
Grace previously led game policy at the US Department of Education and later coordinated federal game policy across the executive branch. Prior to serving at the Department, they managed educational game projects at the Smithsonian Institution where they also co-founded the first Federal Climate Change Game Jam and helped organize the National Maker Faire.
Grace was named the 2023 Games for Change Vanguard Award recipient for their career achievement in games and was previously a fellow in the Sesame Workshop WBxD Fellowship, NGLCC iLead Program, Headstream Accelerator, & the TD BANK/NGLCC Entrepreneur program. Grace has been profiled by the Associated Press and VentureBeat. They have spoken at the World Bank, the NY Times, the White House, the US Capitol, & Skywalker Ranch.
